This emotions poster asks you, "How are you feeling?" It features a curated collection of 8 feelings sure to resonate with the youngest children: happy, sad, angry, scared, hungry, frustrated, and tired.
This listing is for a digital download of the feelings poster. It is also available as a poster that will be printed for you and shipped directly to you if you do not want to print it yourself.
The digital download files are PDFs in the following sizes: 8.5x11 inches (letter), 8x10, 12x16, and 16x20 inches.
With my background in psychology, I've test-driven this and other versions of this feelings chart with my own kids and neighborhood children for years. I can report that starting around age 3 kids are able to identify nearly all the emotions without parental help (and a few with help).
I'm proud that these drawings feature clear facial expressions and body language to help children know what these big feelings look like and differentiate them from one another. For kids who are learning to read, the font is a legible print typeface that is used in children's books, meaning budding readers will be able to read the names of the emotions too!
This feelings poster is not only decor but a learning tool too. Great for use in classroom, nursery, kids room, playroom, or kitchen.
If you laminate the poster at the print shop of your choice you can even use token such as magnets with the chart to give kids the experience of literally putting their name on a feeling. :)
The "How are you feeling?" emotions poster is also available as downloadable printable wall art.
