Flights from ORD are $588 round-trip from Jan. 12 through Jan. 27. These China Eastern Airlines flights include also include a more than 30 hour layover in Shanghai, according to Skyscanner.

 

From San Francisco

The cheapest time to fly to Seoul from San Francisco is in May on Hong Kong Airlines. A round-trip flight costs $489 round-trip with May 15 to May 29 travel dates. This flight includes a layover in Hong Kong.

From Los Angeles

There are many options leaving from Los Angeles no matter how long or short you want your trip to be that will have you in Seoul for less than $400 round-trip.

China Eastern will get you there for $361 round-trip from LAX with a layover in Shanghai for travel from Mar. 1 through Mar. 8, according to Skyscanner.
