The Chrysler 300 Series returns for the 2021 model year, to continue its position as America’s big, bold sedan, making a statement through striking design, sophisticated interiors, and a variety of style packages. The 2021 Chrysler 300 Series continues to deliver segment-exclusive features like the award-winning 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen as standard equipment, as well as offering a diverse lineup including the option of all-wheel-drive (AWD).
New for 2021, the 2021 Chrysler 300 delivers additional standard content in a simplified lineup (300 Touring, 300 Touring L, and 300S) and continues to offer premium style, luxury, and performance in the large car sedan segment. Added as standard equipment for 2021 on 300 Touring L and 300S are ParkSense front and rear park assist system, Blind-spot Monitoring, and Rear Cross Path detection. The Red S Appearance Package exterior content from last year is now standard on the 300S and consists of a Gloss Black front fascia applique, Black Noise exterior badging, red insert on the Chrysler wing badge, Red “S” badge, and 20-inch Black Noise wheels.
There are also two new optional equipment packages for the 2021 Chrysler 300 Touring-L and 300S called the Comfort Group Package and the Popular Equipment Package. Each of these packages includes the following…
- Comfort Group Package includes auto-adjust-in-reverse driver’s mirrors, ventilated leather-trimmed seats, adaptive bi-xenon high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps with automatic leveling system, door sill scuff pads, trunk mat, driver and front-passenger footwell LED lamps, front and rear LED-illuminated map pockets, heated rear seats, heated steering wheel, power backlight sunshade, power tilt/telescoping steering column (300S only), memory (driver’s seat, power tilt/telescoping steering column, exterior mirrors and radio) and rear storage armrest with LED-illuminated cup holders.
- Popular Equipment Package includes a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen with Navigation, 9 premium speakers with trunk-mounted subwoofer, and a 506-watt amplifier with a surround sound system.
Two of the appearance packages that were introduced last year, also make a return for the 2021 model year. The 300 Touring-L Sport Appearance Package and the Touring-L Chrome Appearance Package. The Touring-L Sport Appearance Package features Black Noise exterior badging, 20-inch Black Noise wheels, performance front fascia with body-color applique, and premium LED fog lamps. The Touring-L Chrome Appearance Package adds the look of the discontinued legendary 300C to the Touring-L model.
The optional Radar Red interior introduced last year, returns for the 300S model and is only available on 300S painted in Bright White, Black, Granite Crystal, Silver Mist, and Velvet Red.
Under the hood of the 2021 Chrysler 300 Series, returns the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 delivering 292 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque (300 horsepower and 264 lb.-ft. of torque on 300S models). The legendary 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine is only available on 300S and delivers 363 horsepower, 394 lb.-ft. of torque, and 0-60 mph in less than 6-seconds. Both powertrains come standard with TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmissions and only the Pentastar can be equipped with the AWD configuration.
The 2021 Chrysler 300 Series is offered with class-exclusive AWD available on Touring and Touring L models. The AWD system features a front-axle disconnect that engages at any speed without the need for driver input and enables optimal traction and control based on a variety of inputs, including environment/weather conditions, driving styles, and road surfaces.
There are 9 available exterior colors for the 2021 model year that include Amethyst, Bright White, Canyon Sunset, Frostbite, Gloss Black, Granite Crystal, Ocean Blue, Silver Mist, and Velvet Red.
Production of the 2021 Chrysler 300 Series starts in November at the Brampton Assembly Plant in Brampton, Ontario. Models will begin arriving in dealers in very early 2021.
