This 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited is finished in Bright Platinum Metallic over black leather and is powered by a 5.9-liter Magnum V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and a full-time four-wheel drive system. Equipment includes 16″ chrome wheels, a limited-slip rear differential, body-colored cladding, a roof rack, tinted windows, keyless entry, power-adjustable heated front seats, and a 19-speaker McIntosh audio system with a CD player. The truck was delivered new to Carl Burger’s Chrysler Jeep of La Mesa, California, and remained registered in the state before being relocated to Massachusetts in 2020, where it was recently acquired by the seller. This Grand Cherokee has 56k miles and is offered at no reserve with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Connecticut title in the seller’s name.

The truck is finished in Bright Platinum Metallic with a matching grill, lower body cladding, and bumpers. Additional exterior details include a sunroof, front fog lights, tinted windows, a roof rack, hood louvres, tow hooks, and a receiver hitch.

Chrome-finished 16″ five spoke alloy wheels wear Jeep-insignia center caps and are mounted with 225/70 Cooper Discoverer AT3 tires. A full-size spare is located in the rear cargo area, and the truck is equipped with four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes.

The interior features black leather seating surfaces along with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Faux-woodgrain trim accents the dash, center console, and doors, and amenities include heated power-adjustable front seats, a vehicle information center, automatic climate control, and a 19-speaker high performance McIntosh audio system with a CD player.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and battery voltage. The digital odometer shows 56k miles, under 1k of which have been added by the seller.

The 5.9-liter Magnum V8 was factory rated at 245 horsepower and 345 lb-ft of torque. Service in September 2021 involved an oil change and replacement of the serpentine belt.

Power is sent to all four wheels via a Quadra-Trac full time four-wheel drive system and a Dana 44 rear axle with a 3.73:1 limited-slip differential.

Manufacturer’s literature, service records, two sets of keys, and period magazines are included in the sale.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.
